Shockwave Flash Plug in has crashed

Please help.
I keep getting the message that Shockwave Flash plug in has crashed.

I use Google Chrome and Windows XP.
I updated Adobe Reader at the weekend to latest version 10, I think, as I read somewhere that it could be related old version of Adobe Reader. It's still crashing. Happens on Ebay.
I use Microsoft Essentials and Kaspersky - on the free trial at the moment.

Can you advise me what I need to do, please?
