Just to echo what Sandra says - I also have complained, by email to customeradvocate office at MBNA. This had absolutely no effect on calls and threatening letters.
I think MBNA just want to say that they hold no respect whatsoever for the OFT guidelines, to which they are supposed to adhere, and who the hell are we to question their methods.
In my opinion, the whole scenario of 'harrassment' particularly by MBNA needs a test case - unfortunately most of those on the receiving end, of their wroth, do not have the means to initiate legal action.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Oh dear, not very encouraging
Fortunately I'm now the proud owner of a SkypeIn phone number, ostensibly for the work I'm doing for Nathaniel's company but I might well ask friends and relations to call on that instead so at least I know it's worth answering.
If you can't be a good example, be a dire warning

It does cost £4 a month but at least it would stop any calls from them until they figure out how to send out a proper caller id. Bonus is that it stops 99% of marketing type calls too :-)
Wanna bet on that?? They have a mobile phone to get round the problem. No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.
