Anyone making crackers? What are you putting in them?

I noticed that Thorntons have little individual chocolates in boxes on 3 for 2 at the moment. Probably not the cheapest, but seeing as I'm making mine from scratch I'm going to put one of these in each and it will still be cheaper than filled crackers!0

6 crackers for £1.49-very good quality.
Jewellery is always a good one for that someone special!!!
I got some of these too.
I'm planning on letting the kids make them for the teachers and teaching assistants so am on the lookout for little bits to put in - thought of lip gloss/ chocs and maybe split pack of small decorative candles from poundland.0 -
I have built up quite a stash of perfume, aftershave, make-up and cream samples over the past couple of months. They are the perfect size to put into d-i-y crackers.
I would recommend the home bargain kits too. They come with all the bits that should go inside- hat, joke and snap. I dont think the tesco kits do???

i'm going with scrath cards in the adult ones and my two boys have sticker albums so im putting a couple of packs of stickers in theirs.
i picked a sainsburys diy craker kit up from the car boot sale earlier in the year for 25p (not bad for 6 crackers) got another couple of them at a £1 shop in the jan sales. I've got some balloons and whistles to put in them as well, I may regret that during the afternoon LOLSPC~12 ot 124

That is fantastic.
I haven't managed to get such a bargain with the crackers, but I have been successful in bidding for some on Ebay, I haven't been able to see any nice ones in the £1 shops.
I forgot to say a party popper is also going in mine.0 -
Last year I used crackers as an alternative for wrapping a gift voucher instead of putting it in a card etc!
You could buy £1 ones and put those in as cracker prices
I love the scratchcard idea, think I'll def be doing that this year as I've a loft full of crackers I bought it the sales after last christmas0 -
Last year my nephew won £80 on the scratchcard I put in his cracker!0
