Keyring on a cord

I hope I can describe this properly: I would like to buy one of those keyrings with a strong clip at one end and a keyring at the other, connected by a stretchy spiral cord.
I would like to be able to give my 11 year old his own key, but he loses anything not nailed down! One of these keyrings would help me to attach the key to his coat, I would then zip it into a pocket.
I've never bought a keyring in my life, I always use the free gifts and yes, the cruddy ones that come in crackers! I've got no idea where to buy one that is decent quality.
I'll have a look round a few handbag/luggage shops, but if anyone can suggest a shop or website I would be grateful.

I spent ages looking online for an extendable keyring on a wire, and ended buying one off of eBay for £6... a few days later I went into my local cobblers to have a key cut, I spent 10 minutes looking around and what did I find? They had them there for £2.50 *sob*:A:A:A:A:A:A0
