Sorry can find a way to search the answer, but am no unemployed so how do i cost my life as my benefit /sole incom is now 65 pound a week and if i put the full liaible costs they are still in the minus end ie mortage and secure loan .

if i put it all down the OR will surely question how im going to live pay for it without money coming in , ie mortage and secure loan has to be paid but that is being paid by my estranged husband or will be .

My CTax benefit is pending assessment, but obviously utility and tv licence all has to be paid with insurance costs.

As im estranged do i leave off amounts that my husband is paying it. ie mortage and loan.

    Hi Hol.

I have seen some of your responses and they are good and in depth with detail:)

I have been on here a while when I went BR I was in same situation and put down the exact figures and told the OR. I have moved on and working now etc.

Point is do your SOA as exact as poss and dont worry then talk to OR. You sound a very possitive person.

    Sizz:)
  • Thanks Sizzler - i do have many years of housing advice and benefits background so do advise as best as i can- im very keen for people to know there rights.
i can come across as arsy im not just passoniate and def not self opinionated which is how it looks and a poor speller at that .

anyway back to me - just signed on , hubbie gone and dad is gonna pay some costs ie to keep the house as my joblessness is hopefully a two month wonder - with hope.

But what do i say in terms of morgtage costs etc .

i just cocked up on one form , it says has a baliff come to you ie bristow and suitor ive said yes then realised it was hubbie they were after, i had to spen 5 pound for these forms as my printer bust and had to go to the library, only recently seperated an he is abouncing around so what do you in terms of his residence etc,

also should i tipex out the error or get some new forms ,

    Thanks guys

Not sure when your BR date is but if there's time you can always ask the Court to send you two copies of the forms. I got mine within a couple of days and no charge. Then you can use the messed up copy as a working copy before you write out neatly on the Court ones.

Oops! Never mind, just scribble out the errors, write the correct answers and make sure you sign and date the amendment to be safe.

It's the best I can think of at this late stage, at least it will save you a bit of money at the library for new copies. Obviously if one particular page is beyond redemption then you have the second blank copy you could just get the relevant page photocopied again tomorrow.
