We got a box of these for Christmas and the date was best before April 2011. They were very Christmassy so I wouldn't give them as a gift, not even to MIL.0

I bought some of these before Christmas and they were lovely but yeah, I'd be cautious about the date if they won't get eaten quickly0

My mum loves the fact that she gets bargains as gifts. She knows she gets more gifts that way, and there is no way they will last until Mother's Day, let alone the end of April. I think they taste better to her if she feels they are better value.these are christmas boxes with probably short dates, not really suitable for gifts unless you really want people thinking you are tight.
there is a nice large box in tesco on offer btw
One year she got about 4 gifts with all the bargains on here!So many glitches, so little time...0
