Sorry if this is the wrong place, (its my first post here!) but Im just having a look about this forum, looking for hints and tips to reduce my debt.

So I saw a link about doing a SoA, and you need to know your APR rates. So I called Virgin, they told me my APR is 34.9%

So I asked if he could reduce that, it was much much higher than I thought it would be. And he said YES! :j

From my next statement it will be 24.9%, taking my bills down by approx £20-25 a month! I will still be paying this extra saving to my card, which means my debt will be coming down quicker! :j

Feeling rather happy now, I honestly didn't think they would change the APR!!!
Can't think of anything smart to put here...

Honestly, I dont know! I literally asked, and he said yes. Maybe because the balance on this card was a balance transfer from a store card?

I asked him several times to confirm this, and he did.

Just on the phone to Halifax visa to see if they can do the same!

Ach well, Halifax said no :(

He did say it was possibly because I had a late payment at the start of this year (which I don't remember getting, but Im not going to argue).

He gave me a freephone number to contact them, said I can call back every month and see if they can decrease the interest. Said he could get it to 24.9% (from 29.9%)
