Actually now that I mention it, that was something else I was going to ask, how common are these door collectors in Scotland?

I moved up here to get away from them!!
not very common out of 8 creditors threatning a door step call only 1 came and i was at work . he put a card through the door and that was it ,i had plenty of letters threatning this and that for about a year and nothing came of it.

No doorstep callers for me, although I lived in fear of that. A.I B. I found were ok to deal with, quite helpful and pleasant really. As broxie said, phone interview, just to check your answers.
Go ahead and get it over with, you will feel so much better I'm sure.

Cheers stubruscooby, I am really enjoying chilling out on here.

I have all the forms filled out, I am lucky I only had a few 'biggies' but I am just holding off with sending them in, want to get as much information as possible, plus I may be about to get a promotion at work that would put a third on my salary.

Thing is I despise DRA's so much now that it would destroy me to hand over any cash to them. Perhaps the banks need to get real on using these vermin (lol)

Thanks for ALL your posts Broxie (even tho I am an Aberdeen fan!!)

If I had discovered MSE this time last year I may not be going down the road to BR
