Boots 3 for 2 offer question

Does this offer give you the cheapest item free or is it like the M&S 3 for 2 that deducts a third of the price of each item? Ta

It gives you the cheapest free, but it also can work out better than some other systems, for instance if you buy 6 items costing: £10, £9, £8, £7, £6, £5 you would get the £8 and the £5 ones free.

  • Hi there. I have worked for Boots over the past month and the till automatically put the items in price order (highest to lowest) and every 3rd item is free. hth

also, on special points evenings (spend £50, get 1000 points)- you get the 1000points for every £50 you spend (2000 points if you spend £100 for e.g)

M&S doesn't deduct a third of the price for each item it's like Boots, the till puts the items in price order (highest to lowest) and every 3rd item is free. There are shelf-edge notices in M&S explaining this.

  • Marks and Spencers online gives a third off. Brilliant if you want to buy one large present and then say two Christmas cards.

I have placed a few orders and it is a lot better than 3 for 2. Instore it is only the 3 for 2 offer the same as Boots.
