Getting account payment breakdown for old secured loan

Can anyone let me know what type of letter I need to send to get all the information regarding a closed and paid off secured loan I had several years ago please?

I just want a list of every transaction from start to finish to see what I actually paid. It was with Welcome and I fell fowl to the rule of 78 - so want to see what I paid and also how much PPI I paid (was told I *had* to have it). I will then look at pursuing them if anything seems unfair (such as the PPI of course).

The loan was taken out in 2004 and paid off in about 2007 - so it's quite old.

Can someone tell me what letter I need and if any payment is needed please?

your best bet would be a SAR.

the following link will help you, and it will cost you £10.
welcome will thne have to send you any information they still hold on you, they have a legal obligation to keep the information for at least 6 years so you may just be in time to get it.

once you send your request they have 40 days to send you the information.

you should be able to get the correct address fro welcome from the list on the next link.

then if you pop over to the ppi forum we will be able to give your further advice on re-claiming your ppi back.
I'm proud to say that the banks no longer take money from me after becoming debt free
