hi, just wondering if anyone can help, were trying to pay off loans and credit cards and are struggling but they all getting paid on time but we were wondering if managed to get the intrest frozen on the cards would it give us a bad credit rating? we dont want to go down the route of DMP or an IVA

If you can afford your minimum payments then its very unlikely your creditors would agree to freeze interest.
Occasionally people have managed to negotiate with their credit cards companies to freeze interest for 6months or so, at that point you would have to negotiate as to whether they would mark anything negative on your credit file (eg as an arrangement to pay).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
