What am I

I wonder if any one knows anything about this and might be able to advise me?
What is my Occupation? Sounds simple, but it isn't. I'm 45, ex military, been a War Pensioner since 1993, but was able to work, so always used what ever I was doing at that time as my occupation, for the last 3 plus years i've been unable to work due to my injury, my War Pension has been increased to reflect this.
So, am I retired (the likely hood is i'll never be able to work again) or am I unemployed through illness or some of the many similar tags?
I want to get a loan in the near future and get better deals on credit cards etc, are some occupations/descriptions better than others

Thanks for that, always nice to hear things positive, looks like i'll have to settle with being a skint but respected Pensioner  does that allow me to be reckless with the shopping trolley in the supermarket now

Hi Intranicity,
whenever I have dealt with finance apps for things like this we usually list it as medically retired.

Medically retired, not seen that, but will keep an eye out for that, guess I just don't want to put unemployed down as I'm not by choice, but feel saying I'm a pensioner doesn't quiet sound right either.... thanksOpinions are like bottoms - We all have one, just some stink more than others

If you put down unemployed you will automatically get declined for a loan - retired means they look at your income and credit history and take it from there.
IMO you are retired.0
