hi all, me and my partner are looking to buy a property and im slighty worried that we wont get a mortgage due to the fact that we both have checked our credit rating using equifax mine is good while my partners is only fair, we will have a sizable deposit of around 55000 and are looking to borrow around 85000 my partner was declined for a loan a short while ago we have no idea why this is, and now im worried that we will be unable to get a mortgage now
any advice would be great

Does the credit report show any adverse credit such as missed payments, CCJs or defaults?

No none at all both are good, i earn around 13000 and my partner around 270000

no loans we do have cc we owe approx 2500 but dont miss payments or anything and pay more than the minimum0
