I want to have a go at making bread. I do not have a bread maker or a warm place that I can think of to let the bread rise in?
Also is strong flour the same as bread flour?
Does any one have a good , simple recipe for bread?

Hurrah, another real bread convert :j
Try this recipe for starters.
Yes, strong flour is best for bread.
My advice would be to start first thing tomorrow. Allow several hours for the first rise (you don;t need it to be warm - longer at a cooler temperature makes for better bread
). You will then find that the dough has become much silker and smoother, and the second rise may only take an hour or so.
Please ask if you have further questions

You can even rise it in the fridge overnight in a bowl topped with oiled cling film. Slow proving does make for tastier bread. Enjoy the wonders of homemade
