My Emu's have a harder wearing sole,i've got a few pairs of Emu's and i've really worn the heels down on them,so i can't see these lasting very long.
Are all the soles on UGG boots this cheaply made,i've never noticed before?
All I can say is give them a chance, granted on looking the soles look like they wont last long.. but mine are nearing the end of the second winter and I wear them everyday and walk between 4-6 miles a day... and the sole isnt mis-shapen at all. What you cant see is these boots are actually built with reinforced heels.. Google it...
I bet you will be suprised how hardwearing these are, I am not one that goes all out for brand names and I only afforded my UGGS by buying them on catologue and paying a bit back at a time...but these boots were the best £190 I ever spent and I wouldnt hesitate to do it again!0 -
I think i must be heavy footed lol
I've got three pairs of Emu boots and they have all gone the same way,i always walk over on them so the sole wears down at an uneven rate and then you look odd when you're walking as you're lopsided lol so i then end up wearing them in the house as slippers as i don't want to be seen in them outside as they look awful.
I always thought it was the copy boots/fakes that made peole walk over on them like that, but i do it with all my Emu boots and the heels are re-inforced on them, they aren't like the cheap ones in Primark,i think it must be just the way i walk

I think sometimes it may be the way people walk. I have had mine for 3 years, worn them every day during the winter months (which seem to be half the year at the moment!!) and they have lasted brilliantly. However, one of my friends says they only last her one year each time.
My Ugg Baileys arrived today, very impressed. I was worried like in a previous post about them not being snug on the ankle but they are. Very comfy and a good purchase!!0 -
I'm hoping mine don't come until Monday. Don't really want them to arrive on a Saturday when hubbies home! Bought rather a lot of boots this winter.

LOL....that is something that I always do!!! I often have to send the goods to my workplace or my In-laws, then quickly stash them in the wardrobe before hubby gets home....:rotfl::rotfl:I hate twitches, but I LOVE glitches!!!0 -

I am very heavy on my feet. I have my high heeled shoes and boots re-heeled with steel loads of times, before the end of their life.
I wear my cardy Uggs loads and have not noticed any wear on the heels.I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 20100 -
The reviews look a bit scary. Wondering whether they are for this seller or for the item as lots say they are not genuine or there was an extra £30 in charges to pay.
The dodgy reviews have now gone, funnily enough my other half thought maybe they were fake as the suede barely covers the fur lining it's paper thin on the boots, there's no hologram on the box,i thought they all had holograms nowadays.
My other half has convinced me to return them as he also thinks looking at the sole that they aren't any better than any cheap ones you buy for a tenner.
I'm just curious as to whether ALL Ugg boots have the same soles as these do,i've never looked at them in a shop, only online.0 -
I buy my UGGs from ebay. I have never had a problem with fakes - it's fine if you are careful and read feedback. I got some UGG Delaines and they were definitely genuine. I saved about £50 from RRP.0

I bought some classic Uggs from Rubber Sole over the winter. The sole is brilliant and despite loads of wear both soles are still spotless. They have a hologram label inside each boot. I'm not an Ugg expert but I've never seen any with bad soles before. Are they returns or seconds and that's why they are on Amazon from a catalogue? Just a thought. Despite what people have said I still wish I'd got some!!0
