Reduced my Overdraft Limit!!!!!

I have just reduced my overdraft limit by £20. Now I know this isn't a lot but it's the first time I've had it under £1000 in about 5 years so I am very proud of myself. And just wanted to say a huge thank you to the people on here! Without the advise and support over the past few months I wouldn't have had the strength to do it at all. My overdraft has always been my safety net and after reading a post on here saying that even reducing it a little bit makes all the difference. So I have! Mini cheer and celebration to me! :j:beer:

Keep at it. It will disappear eventually as long as you are strict with yourself.

    Well done.

    Well done :j
Here to offer help and advice, and maybe take a little in return.

Whilst I am happy to share my knowledge, I am in no way a professional... I can not therefore accept responsibility for inaccurate info, I ask that you take professional advice rather than rely totally the info provided by myself
  • well done you! This is how I am getting rid of mine as well. Mine is reduced by £50 every month and, after a while, you don't even notice it.

:TIt does feel good. I think now I know I can cope without the 'safety net' that I'll want to keep reducing it. I hate seeing the minus number everytime I go to the bank. I just want to see positive numbers!!! Thanks for all the replies though! This is why I love this website! The encouragement is great and keeps me strong!
