As suspected I'd be!
Another hour and we have to set off for my WCA and am I dressed? Washed? NO!
My mouth is dry, my heart is racing, my stomach is churning and now feel like I'm hanging on by a very fine thread. I have to hang on tho' because I my daughter has to ring to cancel, I will just have to go through all this again.
At least I'm out of bed, which is an improvement on yesterday!
I'm trying to tell myself it will all soon be over and back home again.
It all feels so unreal.

Hope it went well, you just have to tell the TRUTH about how your condition affects you, and this will be related to how you could function in employment.0

Thanks cherrypie
It was nothing like I expected and I coped better than I expected.
The person I saw for my medical didn't type or look at the computer while my daughter or I spoke. The examiner did do loads and loads of typing in between though.
At the end they praised me for getting there and coping as well as I did then told me to go home, relax and try an enjoy myself more.
Now for the waiting game!0 -
Going for a sleep now as I'm mentally drained0

Thanks healy & Roger
I was waiting for all the questions to be fired at me.....do you have a phone, pets etc.
The only questions I got asked were, who does the shopping, who cooks for you and do you watch TV or read.
They kept asking if I was okay to continue and yet I felt I was coping okay with it all.
Now I just have to await the verdict...was I under false security? etc.
After reading all the horror stories on the web, I feel uneasy at how kind, caring and sympathetic my assessor was.0 -
They also had some medical records about me there as I got asked about my overdoses, when I mentioned one they said they had read about the way I had got hold of the tablets I used.0

After the first medical assessment my OH heard in under a week, which I thought was very good. Just hope it is as quick this time, the waiting is horrible.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0
