Just purchased the Password Journal for my daughter for Christmas. Almost 20 pounds (sorry for some strange reason I don't have a pound sign on my keyboard
) most places, just 10 pounds at the Entertainer. It just arrived with the price of 20 pounds right on it, great little Christmas gift. Couldn't find it when I went in through the main store, found it through shop.com. Here's a link, hurry as they have them now on the main site for 18.95.

Hi, I wouldn't like to disappoint you after you found a bargain, but I bought one of these for my daughters birthday last sunday, we took it back as it was useless at recognising my daughters password, we tried several different passwords and with several different tones of her voice but we got so frustrated that we took it back and exhanged for something else0

hi! I will second you sherrie... we bought my daughter this full price last year.. was one of the 'in' toys for that year... VERY disappointed with it! same thing that it doen't recognise the password as it should.. daughter was regularly upset on and off on xmas day with us all trying our best to sort it out for her, but it never ever did work right we never got round to taking it back unfortunately.. but it now sits at the bottom of my daughters cupboard un used and unwanted!!! Rubbish!!!!!
sorry to disappoint you OP but i hope your daughter is not as disillusioned with it on xmas day as mine was!
In my opinion its not worth even £10 for the heartache that comes with it!!!!

I read a couple of reviews from different sites, didn't read about those problems. I may be posting again though on Christmas Day, we'll have to see how it goes;)0

Same trouble here. We found clapping worked better than speaking so you might want to give that a try :cool:0

My daughter paid £4.99 for hers a while back and it works fine.0

My daughter ended up with it as one of her birthday gifts and she has had a bit of a hard time with it. The problem is to say the password exactly the same each time or it won't work. We've shortened it to boo:rolleyes: It doesn't matter that everyone else knows the password, it will only recognise hers.
She's still having a couple of problems, I seem to be able to do it ok, works every time for me
