I had some of the rump steak last night. It was like chewing on rubber. Certainly didnt think it was worth the £11.48 a kg they are charging!

    Seriously?

We love Tesco steaks and even before the offer I swore by them. I'm ashamed to admit I've had steak 3 times this week :o all courtesy of Mr T and it was gorgeous every time. Did you over cook it maybe?
I like mine rare/medium, I find when any steak is cooked too long it can be chewy. Or maybe you just got a bad piece of steak.

For those of you who didn't get a chance to comment on this last night, there's only 24 comments so far which will probably be making Tesco think that not too many people are bothered about it- should we show them differently ;)

Comes back with a print out with a photo of 2 vouchers on it, she explained that they had to look out for fraudalent vouchers that people have made up themselves - they need to look out for the scissors symbol on the voucher edge and also make sure the T&Cs are numbered as on fake vouchers they aren't.
Err what  None of my vouchers have any scissors on the dotted line, and the T&C's ahve never had a number against them (that was almost the point that many of us were making that we stuck to T&C's that they then tried to change retrospectively.)

!!!!!! are they talking about my vouchers are real (and I've redeemed 8 so far sucessfully)
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)
    Quidco and Topcashback, £4,569
    Shopandscan, £2,840
    Tesco Double The Difference, £2,700
    Thomson EU261/04 Claim, £1,700
    British Airways EU261/04 Claim, EUR1200

No we undercooked it as I like mine medium rare. I think it might just have been a bad piece, it had a lot of gristle in and was really unpleasant, so bad my OH threw 3/4 of his in the bin.
Should have taken it back for a refund lol. Im hoping the other pack we got is better.
Please God, help me stop spending!
