I've just had the most amazing dinner!:j

Rack of lamb done using Sainsbury's crumb recipe. Mashed potatoes. Steam fresh Bird's eye veg, a Turner red wine gravy and a nice glas of Griosola Pinot with it.

I then enjoyed my first Corneto (the kids have eaten the other 50 boxes so far!). :rotfl:

I just want to say a great big thank you to Mr T. Call me what you like, but I've took you for all your worth this last two weeks. Yes, you've had me up until silly o'clock, but boy have I got a full house!

Limit me to £20? I don't care, I'll just do 5 shops at once. :D

And why do I do this? - because, Mr T, you take the pis5! Constantly changing prices up to then bring them down in a "special offer". Building in areas that don't want you there, and generally being a right pain in the a5s!

Oh, and to anyone going when it's open, don't forget your free fresh yeast :D
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

Just waiting to get it on the top of the next page so it doesn't get lost! :p

This is going to be a massive anti-climax, isn't it? :D

Yeah you should have just whacked it up without a word, now you've bigged yourself up, you have to live up to them expectations.

  • I have been reading the press articles regarding the £20 cap and they all seem to mention the same thing... That the prices that are more expensive in Tesco are based on deals put on by Asda. Surely it is worth mentioning that a lot of these items are normal priced items in Asda and are not part of any deal, especially the higher DTD amounts - specifically Hardys Crest & Turner Road. As far as I can see neither of these items are part of any deal

I'm scared now! It's free alcohol though, so if I get 'flamed' I'll just drink myself into oblivion...

I have never used this before, does it include tioletry items that I would purchase with my groceries eg shampoos or facial moisturisers?

    Many thanks.
