Please forgive me but I aint gota clue where we are at ref the £20 limit and wot the t&c's are if you had applied for it before they changed~again. Sunday, Monday & Tuesday I was able to follow this thread like a hawk as I was off work ill ~ too ill to shop even ( Yep, you can actually get that ill....rare, I know..)So i spent my time day dreaming of my new shopping & learning my lists off by heart. But now I just cant keep up with whats what. Please can someone just bring me up to speed. Sometimes when I hear myself rambling on about bargains, cashback & loopholes to friends & family ( whom, might I add never seem surprised or impressed any more by my finds & now when I ask them "how much do you think I got this for?" Always answer 50p as they would expect no less~or more even!) I think god they must think get a life and stop bothering about how much it costs!
But then I read some earlier posts of people who have joined mse purposely after reading the tesco thread so they can have their pennies worth. My god, they need to get a life!!!! Why would you give a toss? If you dont approve stop reading it aint it?
Due to the double the difference c*ck up prices have gone down in most cases for the consumer who buys a general trolley of shopping each week.No children or pets have been harmed, no tax payers money down the drain, no jobs lost (Yet I wouldnt hold my breath for too long if I was the brains behind the DTD promotion)
Why dont they just go & do something useful like some charity work if they have time on their hands? Im guessing they just must be lonely & are doing this for some company.
Well my message to them is : Hey! You wont beat us so why not join us?!! Membership is fun & free!! Lol!!
From the comments made it makes me chuckle to imagine them as traffic wardens or tv licence officers but the difference is their doing it in their own spare time & not even getting paid for it!!Lol!
Some people must av more money then sense!
Right thats the end of another late night ramble. Its always good to get things off your chest b4 bed they say!0 -
anyone else loving the fact that the Daily Mail article has a smacking big pic of the Magners pear cider - showing everyone exactly what to buy - coz it's still 2.04 at Tesco and 1.26 at Asda!!

‘We were made aware via web forums that PriceCheck might not be being used for its genuine purpose by a small number of people.' - Tesco Quote from Daily Mail.
Ooooh we have a spy in our midst, coooooooooeeee Mr T  :rotfl:
The news story is going to make it waaaay more challenging now as all staff will no doubt be on the war path. Will be putting on the camo and war paint before setting off...Comping wishlist for 2017

I don't think the £20 cap will last for long either. What the headlines have now done is make thousands now aware of the promotion. So far more will be looking for £20 vouchers. Tescos problems are not over.
What this whole thing has shown me is that neither shop is better from my usual shopping. Both have cheaper prices for certain things- and in some cases the difference is shocking. I have an asda and a tesco within 5 minutes drive- infact I usually drive past asda to go to tescos. For my main shop, once the promotion is over, I am going to use mysupermarket.com to divide my shopping list between the two. Where prices are identical I will use tesco as I have done well with their clubcard.
I did get stung yesterday, not by a lot, but I did get really annoyed. Once I calmed down I added that shop to my tally and the amount of real money spent on shops worth £465 is £197. How can I complain? And I will still use the £20 limit for as long as it remains.

Then joined my mum and just like celebrate tried to do a mixed shop but ending up going all mushy brained....my mum was lost with it all bless. Managed to get a few bits, was going to get normal food but couldnt help trowing some iams and a bottle of turners in there, my hand just threw them in I couldnt stop it... so spent a £29 voucher and worked out should get a £16 one back...(kept it under the cap)
Celebrate I wish I was in same supermarket as you we would have had a laf passing each other :rotfl::rotfl:
Can you use your vouchers for clothes and household items then? I have only used mine for groceries?0 -
