Just some price differences I have noticed whilst looking online (not confirmed though)

Greens Tom and Jerry cake mix £1.69/£1.25
    Nutella 400g £1.90/£1.40
    Tilda Basmati Rice 500g £2.49/£2.00

Not sure if they will work or not but might be worth a punt if you usually buy them anyway.
Please God, help me stop spending!
  • Dragged my kids after school to Tesco to buy lots of cornettos for my dd's birthday party on saturday, searched for more snap pot hoops/beans but the store had none at all but came across a couple of old ladies who must be grumpy MSE'rs they were argueing between themselves about snap pots amd had picked up a pack of 3 little cans of beans in a cardboard outer saying these must be the snap pots. I was going to put them straight but they gave me a really dirty look when i went towards them..............probably thinking I would take the wedges out of their trolley that I left them to it!:rotfl::rotfl:

Right been this evening with OH, and have things to report back...

The rump steak was all different prices to my list, so didn't get any.
would that be because they were all different weights - the compare is per kilo!
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)
    Quidco and Topcashback, £4,569
    Shopandscan, £2,840
    Tesco Double The Difference, £2,700
    Thomson EU261/04 Claim, £1,700
    British Airways EU261/04 Claim, EUR1200

Nutella does work but if home delivery be careful as they sent me 2x 200g jars not the 400g one even though said no substatutes

Lol I know I'm blonde but not that dozy!!;) No seriously though I was looking at the price per Kilo, and one was cheaper and one was slightly dearer and didn't want to risk it.

Congratulations, I was reading the posts this morning and noticed you had posted your good news! Do you know your due date?
Does you OH not read this thread then?

Thank you. Very early Dec according to a baby calculator :) No he reads the price check one (the none-fun one) as he doesn't know how to look on here properly, just reads the link I emailed him.

  • oh my days, reading the posts on here I'm blooming terrified of using vouchers, mind you that's every day, not just today, most of the time I have no problems, though at one store today they directed me to customer services, and it was the same staff member as a few days ago when the exact same thing happened, bit of a hassle, but at least they took it, although they claimed I was the only customer to redeem one, and that no one had redeemed one since the last time they saw me, bit worried now because I have vouchers to use against receipts that I previously paid nearly the whole amount with a voucher. eak!

Ok, just got back from my 3rd shop in 2 days and spent another £80+ on stuff I don't need  so really hoping I can go in tomorrow and use at least one of the vouchers on things I actually do need or this will have been a complete waste of time and money! I'm sure it will work, I'm prepared to stand my ground if anyone argues as I got them fair and square - haven't fiddled any offers like only buying one of a bogof or anything like that.

I deliberately spread it over 3 visits and have used different cards for each transaction and diff emails for each voucher, so hope that should cover me as I'm already over the £100 limit. Presumably I shouldn't use my clubcard for all the shopping but I think I can use it for £100 worth? After all my plotting and careful reading of this thread I don't want to risk it all by using my clubcard, but I am saving my vouchers for a big holiday so don't want to waste the points either.....

Still loads of lamb racks and turners road this evening - sooo tempting to buy up the whole shop!

Does anyone know if the £10 Roasting Tin is still a good buy??
