This happened to me yesterday, tried to argue with the SA that I should have receipt back and she could sign all over it that I had used the voucher but she was having none of it. Have emailed Tesco to inform them as I was not happy about this as 1. I had purchased a mothers day gift and now have no proof of purchase and 2. had purchased Double Velet toilet roll to enter the tree comp and now have no proof of purchase for that. God help Tesco if I shake that tree and some big money falls out :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Bah - I got a Kindle earlier this year, that's a fab idea. Was thinking about a wii or similar but unless I get sick of stockpiling alcohol I don't think I'm going to do that.Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0

they have been 2 for £7,50 until tomorrow in MR T lol!
somebody posted before re N/A for cans, anyone had a successful DTD on them?
They've been on BOGOF @ £3.75 this week cause that's what I've been spending my vouchers on!!!If a post is helpful to you, please take a second to click "thanks", it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside!0 -

sorry to digress peeps, I really want that Kindle!!
Haven't got a cover for it, can't justify the prices! Amazon are fab, I accidentally broke it and the screen cracked. Phoned cs, small white lie and they swapped it for me foc!
Has anyone any confirmed deals on nappies? Got some last week but that deal has now finished0 -

My sister used a dtd voucher in her local Tesco and they stapled the receipt to the voucher and retained, she wasn`t bothered, but I would not want them to keep my receipt. Hope they don`t do this in my store!

Just got back from using my first DTD voucher for £55.80.
The SA was a young lad who just smiled when he saw it. Called the supervisor who came over and told me my only problem was that my shopping only came to £53.75 and it had to be over the voucher amount.... :rotfl:.... You should have seen the face of the guy behind me in the queue while I sent OH to grab something quickly..lol.
Other than that no problems, perfectly polite and they signed the old receipt but not the new one.
I used this for a normal shop (lots of BOGOF's), my next shop will be a DTD and then I will use the voucher for a normal shop which seems fair to me.
This was at the new Musselburgh Extra.
Yep, best one round the 'Burgh, Dalkieth Hardgreen only 10mins away and good too!0 -
just so everyone knows i had a voucher for 4.80 with a different bar code to my 58.00 one0
