Tesco/Asda pricechecker finds here.......

its a complete rip off this thing. Spent 200 quid in Tesco last week. Put receipt details into the checker, got an email 24 hours later and they had only price checked about a fifth of what we had bought and then came to the conclusion Tesco was £4.67 cheaper.
The reason they didn't check other products was that they couldn't find alternatives at Asda. What don't Asda sell Tanqueray Gin, or Sharwoods Mango Chutney for example?
Complete and utter rip off Tesco.
Did you not read this thread before going out and spending £200 ?? :eek:0 -

Potentially good deal to be had on John Frieda. £5 each in T, but 3 for £10 in A. So, £10 back means paying £5 for 3 products. Not bad...if it compares it! Has this one been tried yet?0

Just got my voucher for a shop yesterday lunchtime
HTH
EDIT: got no email through, just double checked id entered it right and it took me to my voucher!0 -
just spoken to Tesco cs, told that it is now taking 3-5 days to process submitted receipts due to sheer volume!!!! :eek:They also said they will be checking against Asda website for prices. So, guess that means if we use Asda site to check before shopping we will be ok?;)2011, this will be my year .0

Seems Asda increased their 1 litre Baileys to £15 http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/search/searchcontainer.jsp?trailSize=1&searchString=baileys&domainName=Products&headerVersion=v1&_requestid=17826 has been £10.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Deal is more or less over.
Last week, was £10 in Asda, £19.19 in Tesco. DTD was 18.38 so ultimately you paid 83p Net once you got your voucher back.
Now it's £15 in Asda, you only get a voucher back for £4.38 so effectively the bottle costs you more than it would have done in Asda last week alone! The smaller the monkey the more it looks like it would kill you at the first given opportunity.
