  • I have searched the thread, but was just wondering does anyone have any experience (in a dtd sense!) with Morgans Spiced Rum? Looking to buy a bottle as a gift, and may as well splash out on a litre if DTD is likely to work. Prices stack up as follows;

    70cl is £13in T, £11 in A. Whereas 1L is just shy of £19 in T, and £16 in A.

    Now as any rum drinker knows, £10 effectively for a litre of Spiced is not to be sniffed at! I guess what I'm asking is can anyone see any reason it wouldn't work? Thanks in advance.

    Hmm, and I've just remembered I've got some clubcard £2 off £20 spend vouchers- would that be safe to use with it? (Apologies if this one has already been asked)

    Anyone? It kinda got swallowed up in the crossfire. :eek:

    Thanks again in advance.

    Hi I have heard of people using other vouchers with the DTD voucher with no problems, so i think it should be fine, i would just try it.

    Sorry I'm not a drinker so wouldn't have a clue about the rum, i'm sure someone will help though!

  • What a drongo! Just realised I bought the wrong La Giososa! Got the low volume one! I'm assuming this is OK to take back? Can I just say I've found it's 3 for £10 in Asda? And better still it's the stronger version?

    ive got some garden stuff to do aswell, the mr is off all week, so mostly i shall be avoiding the urge to smash his face in, got a few jobs for him to do to keep him busy, not sure what else to get from tesco, theres only so much wine i can stash without him whinging and got a cupboard full of toffee crisps for kids, is there any sensible stuff i can buy?

    I know that feeling - lol. Seriously if you do want rid and by some miracle he finishes at yours this week, I have a million jobs I could let him do. Give you a bit of peace then - lol.

    How about washing powder?? wedges/chips? Failing that it has to be more wine - sorry.
    Think this is why I am giving it a miss today - waiting to see if new offers appear.
    Easter eggs??

    You lost your hat??

    Oh yes forgot about the hair dye -lots of colours to pick from..
  • If my voucher arrives this morning I will be getting some roasting tins, if they have any. They were price matched last week so can't see why not and if you buy two they pay you £4 to take them away :)

    They compare it with this one...
