Just received my second voucher through. They DIDN'T price match (even though they were both on Asda and Tesco websites the same day I shopped):

if you remember which till you were served at and roughly what time, then they should be able to retrieve it. go to CS and they can reprint the receipt.

well guys and girls, going to use my £90 voucher to get some 'normal' shopping and some DTD shopping in one go, going to avoid offers etc (mainly all i need thats 'normal' is nappies, toilet roll, coleslaw, chicken and a few other bits). But hoping to get my voucher down to £50 ish as £90 seems too much, worried they will cause a scene over it, so in furture im aiming to get £50 back only. I also have a £12 odd voucher and am going to use that to get 'pofitable' items and try and build it up abit. checked my list against prices today and theres only a few things that have changed so all should be good. wish me luck

Couldn't find any 6x 568ml bottle packs of Magners today but the individual bottles at £2.04 T £1.26 A are still a good deal IMO. Work out at 48p per pint after DTD!

I now registered with a different user name and my daughters email address and everything was ok until yesterday i couldn't access any of the tesco thread

Is there really a technical problem? (or is this just an excuse?)

I have sensed an anti MSE vibe on there occasionally -("once the MSE'ers start with the DTD it'll all be over" kind of tone) which i found a little upsetting. Why the rivalry we are all in this together?

I just wondered if they feel MSE'ers are now looking at there thread to grab the bargains and deals and they are not welcoming of this so have barred newbies from viewing

I have not been a member of MSE that long and I also frequent HUKD. Although we occasionally disagree it is a very friendly thread. I have no problem with visitors from other threads, this is not MY website or MY thread , it is open to whoever wants to view, it just seems PTS may have changed the goalposts for its own forums.

ps got the rosating tins and 2 olays couldn't believe came to £40 for just those items, my voucher was for £47 so topped up with hula hoops, ragu sauces, pringles, went a bit overboard and total shop came to £53 so just £6 extra to pay

By the way the palmers cocoa butter was reduced to £1.69 or something on our tesco shelf,
Also hula hoops are on multibuy at Tesco so only get one (although if you do get 2 doesn't matter too much as 2 for £3) still would get £2 back
