I'm a bit confused. I something is on offer at Tesco (as in 2 for £4 or bogof), how does it affect the DTD?

If it works out better to get DTD than bogof, don't take the bogof just pay full price for the single item and leave the freebie on the shelf ignoring the puzzled look of the cashier :rotfl:
  • I was not asked for my till receipt by the cashier.

I still think it would be best not to give Tesco a reason to refuse your voucher.

Given some of the stories that have been on here regarding Tesco staff and their treatment of customers (not that I have ever had a problem) it would certainly be prudent to keep hold of the receipt.

Just look online copy of receipt number is in 'my account'

I had the same problem - no receipt with delivery - it is also being sent out to me.

I cannot seem to find "my account"... I could be having a dumb moment? :o

EDIT: I have found my account but you need the actual receipt when you put in the claim?

I got the same Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur 1 Litre - Tesco 16.47, asda 10. DTD is 12.94 so costs you £3.85!
i purchased the baileys instore this morning sel £16.47 price at till £19.19.. still showing on their website as £16.47
    so a nice overcharge of £9.19 x 2 = £18.38 so my baileys will cost me 81p:j

If you had gone to CS instore you could also have got DTD because you were overcharged at the till!

    1) My brother also got a voucher for over £100 so it is obviously something they are not that strict over,
    2) tesco scan the voucher but then have to manually input the value, so why would they input anything other than the >£100 sum.

As both Asda and tesco change prices tomorrow, so the items will change, is it still safe to shop tonight so long as the prices today are valid DTD's?

I was thinking of getting some more Banrock but won't if Asda increase their price, as the check will be made by Tesco after the change (I understand it matters not that Tesco are about to reduce their price as the price I pay is the price they compare), but if the compare is done once the price has reduced, how can they know what is was on the day I bought my items?
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)
