Oh the Banrock phase was a good one. I have most of my xmas shopping done, but would LOVE it if they could send me my 2 vouchers i have put in and then if Mr A could lower the price of Jack Daniels to £10 (its on my xmas present list). Do you think this DTD will be running in June near Fathers day still? :)

lmao everyone getting booze for xmas hope i dont get baileys 81p per litre lol

Am fascinated by all the pessimistic posts! There have been fewer than 133,000 views of this thread and if most of you are like me, you will have looked at it several times, so that isn't anywhere near that number of MSE-ers. How many people shop at Tesco? It's a HUGE number! If most till operators haven't seen the vouchers, then that tells you something about the number of people who have taken advantage of this offer -- it will be a very small percentage of Tesco shoppers. That pricechecker thing must 'harvest' the prices -- it won't be done manually. I am quite sure that part of the process is to highlight to Mr T those prices which are more expensive than ASDA, and he must surely have made a decision to keep it that way. Like various other posters, while I am not happy that the pricechecker thing seems to have broken, I suspect this is an IT problem and that various people are working through the night to get it mended.

But I hope the fun continues as I have only done one shop and expect a DDT voucher for about £50 so still hope to reach my £100 limit!

LOL @ this thread! You are all very amusing, thanks for giving me a laugh.

I can't wait to spend my £100 of vouchers, not sure where the original receipts are though, could this be a problem? I know the exact times and the till I went to, could the store generate new receipts for me if requested? I think they can do this. I once returned something sans receipt and they were able to look it up on the system and generate a new receipt after I told them the till and time of purchase.

    *hopeful*

p.s. I agree with those who say DON'T PANIC, I'm sure the Pricechecker is just being updated. :)

This is the best promo ever, probably even beats the chopped toms last year (and I fleeced them for about £130 that time lol).

One more question: can you use the DTD vouchers to buy Tesco gift cards?

    T&C's say no unfortunately. :(
    1. Only one Price Check voucher may be redeemed per transaction. Price Check vouchers cannot be redeemed against purchases of petrol, lottery, tobacco, infant formula, caf!, pharmacy, gift cards and mobile phone top up.
