    Ha, that's a cheek!

There are three ways we get really good price check deals:
    1. Tesco have a BOGOF and we just buy one item.
    2. Tesco make excess profit on an item.
    3. Asda deep discount an item as a loss-leader ("rollback" as they call it).
All three cases are the supermarkets playing with prices to try and make more money. Well sorry Tesco, but you play us and we'll play you.

Could we have a smiley for a raised middle finger?

^^^^^ this made me chuckle lol

anyone had any trouble redeeming the vouchers? I tried on 2 occassions at 2 different stores and was refused.

Smila, on the top of your receipt there is a 'How did we do?', visit www.tescocomments.com.

Complain there, I used it on Wednesday and had a response yesterday and it is all sorted.

just given my local store a call and can confirm that prices changed this morning to

    £15 for Baileys 1 L

Was nice while it lasted, still works out at about £11 so not bad if you wanted some anyway.

I couldn't have stood up more, half an hour of arguing, but they refused. I asked on what ground as per the t&c and they couldn't answer.

Made to feel like a criminal - be warned! Voucher was for over £50 :D as taken advantage of the wine offer.

Not sure what to do now as don't want to ring up and spoil it for anyone else

I would go back to the store and try again, if they refuse i would tell them you wish to make a complaint and ask them to call head office whilst you wait.

Remember you havent done anything wrong so dont let them intimidate you.

Legend - the surf small and mighty 1890g bottle works out best per wash, but the bold 2in1 gel is a good deal too.

Thansk hun! Just checked and my local Tesco doesnt do that 1 so will have to be Bold! Never used Bold before but worth a shot!

With the Baileys changing price, i guess that an order placed yesterday will still get the higher DTD?

Right I have been using the Tesco Price Checker ONLY for comparison.

I have just gone back to the first post and re-read again, it seems you check prices on both Tesco and Asda seperately.

I have checked the lamb, Baileys and other item's on my list and they are still the same price on BOTH as they were last night.

This is confusing, which do I go by lol...
