You are probably correct. I'm not particularly uptight about it though - just find it difficult to understand why there are so many repetitive, often silly, questions asked. Mostly people do answer the questions, time after time (and often don't even get a 'thanks' for their effort). but eventually they will get fed up. Just earlier this evening somebody asked if they could use the vouchers to buy fuel and also if they could just part use a voucher - its made VERY clear on the vouchers themselves that you can't do this. Questions like that indicate that people are not making any effort at all to think for themselves.

    hi
    sorry i didn't mean to offend anyone:D
i don't understand why there isn't a seperate thread for the deals only, people who know the rules don't really want to trawl through the same old questions being asked over and over again

sorry but i still think if you want to save money you should expect to invest some time yourself in doing the homework in reading threads and other forums (the paid to shop forum has the full instructions on what to do for this DTD on the first page, step by step)

i am very grateful to you guys -have saved me heaps of money (although my spending has soared!!!!!!!!!:rotfl: since i joined this forum)

It may well be annoying for you but remember we were all newbies and as Edinburghlass said your posts were not in the spirit of MSE.

If people have just discovered MSE grabbit (a newbie) you cannot expect them to be as savvy as some of the more experienced MSErs who know how to seek out good deals or even really know where to start!

I remember my first 20-30 visits on MSE I didn't have a clue what was going on, but maybe that was just me but I think most people find it daunting at first, especially if you have never been on site like this.

I have made a spreadsheet of beers, wines and spirits showing the Tesco price, Asda price and price after DTD and have sorted it so the lowest price after DTD are at the top.

The link for the spreadsheet is https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AvYqEf83lwANdE02ajdDa09BOE9PUGYxRWhyMmFuX2c&hl=en&authkey=CMTX98YD

    Some good deals include:
Isla Negra Res Merlot @ 97p per bottle
Hardys Crest Cabernet Shiraz Merlot @ 93p profit per bottle
    Pimms £6.03 per bottle
Jameson Irish Whiskey @ £5 per bottle

    HTH

didn't see the bit in bold, got allexcited for a minute....

Last post on page 65, however I don't have the time to maintain it and the prices quoted may change

Thanks for the hard work. I quite love spreadsheets :o

No high horse here. Just responding to your apology, I wasn't having a go at you. :)

Maybe you should take Edinburghlass's advice and take a step back!
