Remove Ex from house deeds

How do I go about getting my Ex husbands name removed from the deeds to my house? I owned the house before we met and after we married took out a mortgage for repairs, we separated a year later and he did not make any payments towards the mortgage but agreed that he would make no claim on the property, we are now divorced and am in a position to pay off the remaining mortgage, I do not want his name to remain on the deeds.

Talk to your lender. If you have sufficient income to take on the mortgage in your own right, it should not be a problem, even less so if you mean immediately pay it off - though checl the deal you are on, you don't want to be charged early repayment fees unnecessarily.
Check your divorce settlement/solicitor for mention of the house...you have to follow what was laid down.Act in haste, repent at leisure.
