Photo calendar

Hi all,

Need to tap into your bargain shopping brains...

I am wanting to do two photo calenders, one for my parents in Oz and on for my nan (actually possiblity of another one).

Can anyone suggest who has the best deals going at the moment.

Have looked at Snapfish, Kodak gallery and Vistaprint.

Would love to get a good deal on these as postage back to Oz is never on the cheap side!!

Thank in advance

If you have got publisher on your PC then you can do home made ones, all it costs you is the paper & ink. To bind we hole punch then tie with ribbion.

  • I ordered 4 from truprint a few days ago. Should be here tomorrow!
They have the best online making process i could find. The only one that allowed more than 1 photo per page and photos in the dates.
Cost £14.99 but currently 25% off additional copies(great for me as i ordered 4!) Also lots of codes around the net. Found one for 50& off calandars so i paid about £7 each with postage. They are bound with a metal spiral and i hope they will look great!

Yes Truprint Calendars are brilliant, I recieved mine yesterday my mum will love it.
  • Me again, just checked on the Truprint site, when I ordered mine the other day it was half price. I thought the offer had finished but its on again until 9th December. Click on 'gifts' and you should see the offer. Enter code Decal at the check out and you will get the calendars for £7.49 each. Offer expires 9th December.

Staples will print and bind a calendar for £8.99.

Or if you print your own, binding is 93p.

We're doing homemade/low-cost/charity presents this year and my idea os photo calendars after the one I got last year from Photobox was such a success.

Delighted for the tip re Publisher - where can I get this? Anyone know what printer I would need for this?

Got a big family so I'm going to use old photos and make one calendar each. Was thinking of basing it on birthdays that month.

Whether you do homemade or through one of the online companies, it's a great pressie!

Web company yellow moon have make your own calendars for 2.99 each, the kids can colour them in then you add a photo, very home made looking but great as a gift i've bought pencils as well for a present under a £5-. also up to 15% of your total goes to your local school or play group.
Would love to be a "Yummy Mummy" but more a "Slummy Mummy"!!:rotfl: :rotfl:
  • I made one a couple of years ago for in laws in Spain, went down a treat and I did copies with hole punched bindings for our parents. The original one was made with a kit bought off ebay and publisher software.

If I get time I'll do another this year, I've got the kit already.

If you do a hole punched home made version photo paper is nice to give it a glossy finish. I would guess that if you haven't got a colour printer, if you changed the photos to black and white you could still make it look quite classy.

    Hope this helps.
