If today's feedback is anything to go by, avoid Thorpe Park at all costs!
They opened today - 2 hour queues to get in, 1 hour queues for food, 2 1/2 hour queues for rides.

Oh and most of the rides broke down.....

We went last year and it was OK, it does seem like the rides break down a lot though. On the day we were there, Saw kept shutting over and over again, Scream shut twice whilst we were queueing for it, Nemesis broke down just after we went on it and at least two of the other smaller rides were shut all day as well. We went on a quiet Tuesday outside of school holidays and whilst the queues were small to start with, as so much stuff broke down, we ended up leaving at about 3pm because what was working had massive queues.

To be honest, I wouldn't go out of my way to go back again.

That all said, surely no one ever pays full price to get in there? There's soooo many different offers, we went down with a load of spare 2 for 1 vouchers and tried to give them away in the queue outside, but everyone already had them.

My daughter and friends went today as she has a Merlin annual pass (passholders day and could bring 2 friends for £10 each). She said she has never seen it so busy and a number of the rides were not open. 10-5 and went on 5 rides!
