    Curiously, and exceptionally, this month RBS has paid my pension twice, once on Friday and again yesterday (Monday)! The Friday payment shows up as CHAPS STG R02032DX OUTWARD PAYMENTS and Monday as the usual RBSG PENSION.

    I wrote to pensionqueries ad rbs.co.uk to thank them profusely, and await their response to my suggestion that Fred Goodwin has had pangs of conscience about staff entering the SAYE Share Options scheme and thus losing £huge amounts on the resulting share price crash, and is compensating pensioners from his own obscenely-sized resources...

    Later...
    They had "a processing error", and the additional payment will just be treated as July's payment, but a month early.
