Keane Pre sale tickets

Similar thing happened with Coldplay tickets last year. They didn't allow you to choose in which seated section etc your tickets were for. I got lucky and got an excellent block. But some people's tickets were, frankly, shocking, considering it was a pre-sale.
I'd say anyone really fussy about where they want to sit should wait until 9am on Friday morning when the tickets go on full sale with both Seetickets and Ticketmaster.0 -
you will not get the best seats from this presale - I used them on the last tour and got row K
then when they went on general sale - I applied again and got row A easily !!!0 -
At what point to you get to know which seats you have booked, will it say in the confirmation email....0

When the tickets arrive I suspect.
If you want good seats, I would definitely advise that you wait until Friday.0 -
Despite the complaints about the site, thanks OP for letting me know Keane are touring again in the new year, was gutted to miss the tour in October, so I'm well chuffed to know and I'll apply for tickets as soon as they go on general release.

Oh b****r!! Just realised we're on holiday and will miss them again...

The fact that these haven't sold out today would suggest (to me) that there will be bargains to be had on ebay nearer the concert dates. Keane's second album hasn't sold in such huge numbers as the first (even tho' I think it's about as good IMHO). Arenas are pretty huge cow sheds to fill. Just a thought. I will certainly be waiting and biding my time. Nothing more satisfying than buying tickets at less than cost from a desparate tout! lol.
edit: just checked on ebay and these are going for approx cost price already. Bargains to be had in a month or 2, I say.0 -
I would like to get a couple of these for my dad's christmas as he loves keane, but it sais on the site you don't get them until at least 48 hours before the event. Does anyone know if you get them earlier from another site so i can actually give him the ticket on christmas?0

Have a look on ebay in a couple of weeks and check out the ones that state tickets in hand, that way you know you are going to get them in time, buy from any of the big ticket agencies (Ticketmaster, seetickets etc) and you never know for sure when they will turn up. Plus, as per my post earlier, I genuinely think you could pay less than cost price on ebay....0
