Right, I went to Tesco last night and did my monthly shop. I am planning to go to the fruit and beg market on Saturday to get the rest of the salad and veg stuff. Hi bluemoon,

It goes under various names such as Vegetarian Mushroom Sauce or Vegetarian Oyster Sauce or Vegetarian Stir-Fry Sauce. I use one made by Lee Kum Kee called Vegetarian Stir-Fry Sauce. You should be able to find it at Chinese grocery stores. Here is one you can buy online.
