Ski Stuff at Lidl tomorrow

Goggles £5.99, Snowboard bag £6.99 etc.

These goggles will be perfectly good enough for beginners to early intermediate skiers. For anyone going for the first time, if it snows whilst you're skiing you need goggles otherwise you can't see!

We bought some aldi snow suits almost 2 years ago for the kids and they still fit!! Really good for when it does snow as they stay warm. They get so muddy on the outside when the snow goes slusshy but as they are dry inside they just keep putting them on and off a hundred times a day. Definately had our money worth out of them. Think they were £10. Cheap but good quality and long lasting.
  • My daughter has had 3 snow outfits from Aldi over the years at £14.99 each. There are a couple of occasions when she has been the only one warm and dry in our family despite our Gortex! Unfortunately she is now 13 and the last outfit doesn't fit but despite lots of washing - they're still immaculate!

anyone bought the kids thermals from Lidl before and know if they're any good? We need some for the kids for a trip to Lapland and these seem very cheap at Lidl.
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die

  • Anyone know of any other ski stuff out tomorrow? I need gloves...
  • Bought some googles - they're excellent - athough don't really know till I'm in the snow. They had load of gloves too and the thermals were very good value.
  • Can you wear glasses under goggles or do I need to get a prescription pair?

You can buy specialist Goggles that will fit glasses under them - however in my experience (as a qualified ski techy) you just need to try on different goggles and find whats comfortable. If you have prescription sunglasses they will often be adequate for beginners for all but the most severe weather.

Try Cotswoldoutdoor.co.uk and use code s2155 for a 20% discount - Ski Club Of Great Britain code.

If I can help any more then just ask.

Also try TK Maxx if you have one locally - they have loads of cheap gear in - I just bought a pair of racing leather gloves that should have been £89.99 for £30! Thats the Hounslow store in London and I got the last pair but loads of cheap kit - it doesnt matter if it is last seasons unless you are Victoria Beckham!!
