Discount in Department Stores?
Mcscotty
I'm planning a purchase of various furniture items across different departments in a large department store. Possibly £4-5k or so and it doesn't seem unreasonable to ask for a discount.
Has anyone done this and what's the best way to go about it?

Some stores offer 10% off when you open a store card (I know Debenhams, House of Fraser and Harrods used to do this)
Or just haggle?0 -
No harm in asking if you dont ask you dont get
If your spending that sort of cash hope your making sure you got it at a good price rather than shop around0 -
