Newspaper coupon summary Wednesday 22nd November 2006

Good morning :)

Please post here if you get a Wednesday newspaper or have the chance to look through one - tell us if there are any coupons in or not.

Important details are:
The cost of the newspaper
Whether it's a regional edition
Page number
Expiry date of the voucher
Whether it's store specific and has a barcode

Remember if you go shopping look in as many newspapers as you can. Post even if you don't see any coupons, and mention any offers that you see.

Below you'll find a list of the abbreviations and how to interpret them.

MOC - Money Off Coupon
Bc - Barcode, good chance of universal scan
bc - means only selected stores scan
Xwrd - Crossword
PUZ - Puzzle
T#3 - Token 3
T2collect - Token 2 Collect (generally you have to collect numerous tokens to get the offer)

Thank you, and have a great day :A

In The Independent the glow-in-the-dark space poster is the 2nd half, 1st half was in the paper yesterday. Over the next 3 days there will be 3 more posters, the Sun, the Moon and, I think, the Stars.
  • Damn, annoyed I missed the first half of the space poster, Independent is only 25p in our student union shop. Never mind!

Anyone know how good the Just So Stories looks as a suitable Christmas present? and how much is the express!?

    Thanks,

    Dai

    Express = 40p

(maybe we can put the paper prices in the opening post every day?)

Hi Dai, wondered if it would be worth phoning/emailing The Independent and telling them that the 1st part of the space poster was 'missing' from your newspaper? It wasnt sealed in any plastic, it was just loose in the paper so may be worth a try!;)
