Sometimes getting two singles, and even buying a ticket for a destination further that you want to go is cheaper :eek:

this is the busiest time of the year so almost all cheap deals will have sold out... however you can save £10 on the Saver Return fare of £62.20

Chester to Manchester Piccadilly - £11.50 rtn - can be bought on the day for any train.
Manchester Piccadilly to Newcastle - £39 rtn - must be bought in advance and used on selected train.

Total = £50.50 rtn
