Fairfax Solicitors over payment of income support

for the past 2 years I have been paying £10 a week to DWP for an over payment. I was at the time working. in December my job ended and I claimed JSA. Last week I started a new job I get just under £200 p/w and started making payments again to DWP.This amount is now down to £4676. I had a letter from Fairfax Solicitors yesterday saying I had to pay via them and if i didnt they would take me to court or send a debt collector. I dont have the letter to hand at the moment. i have read some bad things about Fairfax Solicitors. Now i dont know who to make my payments too. I only work temporary through agencies and as you know the work could be from 1 week or longer. Should I make my payments to them or should I pay them through DWP?

I dont know what to do :(
