Homebase: Energy saving lightbulbs - 10p for 2!

Apologies if this has already been posted but a quick search didn't bring anything up!

Anyway, went into Homebase the other day for lightbulbs and they had their value range of energy saving lightbulbs reduced from £3.99 for 2, down to 10p for two! They have standard shape and candle. They are not suitable for dimming.

Appears to be no limit on how many you can buy - I bought 20 bulbs (10 packs) for £1 and no-one batted an eyelid.

Checked their website, and the bulbs are on there too, for 10p a pack.

I was in my local Netto last week, and they had energy saving bulbs for a penny, max of 100 per customer. Did not take much notice of what type, but think they were bayonet.

Remember these energy efficient lightbulbs are very often subsidised by different electricity suppliers, I believe in order to help achive targets for helping customers to save electricity. I have a big box full in my garage as they clearly cost a lot more to make than they are currently being sold for, which will almost certainly stop at some point, most likely without any kind of warning. My box literaly cost me a pound or two, but will see all my lightbulb bulb needs met for years to come. When they go back up to a price dictated by what they cost to produce PLUS a retailers profit margin I will be laughing.
I would recommend anyone that has the space to keep them (Not much frankly) do the same in order to benefit.
For the sake of a pound or two invested, you too could save potentially £3+ per bulb bought.:D
To anyone that tells you "There is no I in team" say no there isn't
But there ARE TWO I'S IN COMMISSION and I dont get paid "Team"

I seem to have missed out on the 10p energysaving light bulbs. I have been to all the participating supermarkets and unfortunately all the deals are expired. Has anyone seen these anywhere else?

    thanx
