Loan application if new to a job

Just wondered if anybody could tell me whether it is even worth applying for a loan if you have only been in a job for less than three months? Was at my last job for 14 years but I guess that wouldn't even be relevant to the application.

Depends how much the loan is for, what your credit file says about you, how much you earn, how much debt you are already in, how long you were out of work between jobs, if you are on the electoral register, how much available credit you already have, if you have any previous defaults, if you have any CCJ's, if you have ever been bankrupt, if you are a homeowner...

    To name just a few!

Impossible to say without more info but you will have to demonstrate an ability to repay, normally 3 Months worth of history at least although your own bank may have a less stringent requirement for you.
