What's up with my cat?

I have 2 indoor cats (maine coons), 1 male and 1 female, both about 2 years old. Chloe (the female, obviously
) has always been a very vocal cat, always chirping and chattering, but the last couple of weeks she has been meowing at us alot. They have both been spayed/neutered.
I think it all started when our other maine coon Theo was ill with a throat infection, while he was ill she kept hissing at him and wanted nothing to do with him, he is now better and they are friends again but since then she was been meowing alot.
They are indoor cats and one of her hobbies is sitting in the kitchen watching the birds but she doesn't seem to have been doing that recently. To begin with she was meowing at oh alot and tonight he is out and she keeps wondering round meowing and making odd chirpy noises. I was worried she was bored and I've been trying to to play with her with one of her favourite toys (feathers on a string on a stick) and she just not really into it, playing half heartedly then stopping to wonder round making noises then playing a bit more. She's always been a very playful cat so thats quite out of character for her. She is still having daily 'crazy sessions' with Theo where they chase each other wildly but she's just not into her usual activities and toys the same (despite having a couple of new toys).
Apart from this, she seems to be ok health wise but I am worried because there seems to be something bothering her
Any ideas?

Hi Caroline, thanks for the reply
She is eating, she's never had a big appetite but she seems to be eating as normal. Health wise she seems fine, Theo was constantly coughing and spluttering when he was ill and fortunately she hasn't been doing the same so I really don't know whats up  0 -
she may have the illness but not being as dramatic- we all know the male species likes a bit of overkill when ill;)
If shes not acting herself she probably has caught it so is having a little whinge about it - hopefully she will be back to herself soon or mybe a trip to the vets will put your mind at rest x***MSE...My.Special.Escape***0
