I have been offered a loan, are all the credit checks now done?

I have applied and been accepted for a M&S loan but the interest rate is 9.9%. I want to appply for one more loan to see if I can get a better rate, before I accept this one. I am at the stage of waiting for the paperwork to come from M&S, I have had an email to confirm acceptance.

My question is, will M&S will have done all the credit checks now? I don't want to apply for another loan, which will show on my credit score, then find that M&S will do another check when I accept IYSWIM? I don't want to risk M&S refusing the loan at the last stage. At the present, M&S is the only credit check I have had in a couple of years.
