From the OP's post:The number of transactions rose about 5 percent to 41,200 in February, Acadametrics said. That’s the second-weakest February since 1995, when Land Registry data began, and is about 61 percent of the average monthly sales transactions over the last 16 years.0

Interesting.....“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

No mortgages being given (record lows), IR going up, market already falling (5% last 6-8 months across UK), unemployment due to rise. CRash is coming baby! Watch out!!! CRASH!!!!I am not a financial expert, and the post above is merely my opinion.:j0

LSL have been spinning frantically for months. They have a lot to lose. A more balanced report can be found in the Independant:Britain's housing market is on the verge of another precipitous lurch downwards, data published yesterday suggests, with mortgage lending now at its lowest level since the height of the financial crisis in the final few months of 2008.

Judging by your totally mental, multi-personality disorder behaviour I would say you are well past the fear stage.0 -
A lovely little house just up the road from me sold only last week. My local friendly estate agent informed me that there was a bidding war and it went for £60K above its asking price. I'm really delighted for the vendor. It's an excellent result all round.0
