Loan for travel/work abroad

Hi,

I am currently working at a bank call centre looking to save some money before I head to Australia to work out there for a few years. I'm hoping to save enough money to go without applying for a loan but was just wondering, if I was to apply for one, what sort of response I would get if I were to say it was for travel purposes and whether the fact that I will be working whilst I'm away would effect the decision in any way?

Cheers
Steve

Is it that time of the Month for a post for travelling purposes already??

Anyway..... So you want to ask a company to give you a big wad of cash shortly before you swan off out of the Country??

You are going to make it almost impossible for them to contact you and even more difficult for them to ensure you repay.

If your going for a carefree experience don't go with the burden of debt around your neck.

Have you tried the Bank of Mum and Dad?

They normally give the best rates and the most favourable repayment terms. ;)

Have a great time in Oz :)
