Afternoon all - I've just read Minty's thread below and found it incredibly inspiring and touching. I hope you don't mind but I'd like to make an offer of my own?
I have a black size 12 womens top at home that is from Marks and Spencers and still has the labels on it. It has 3/4 sleeves and is 100% cotton and a scoopy v neck - I've tried listing it on ebay a few times but it has never sold so if anyone would like it for a xmas present then I would love for someone from here to have it - otherwise its going to a charity shop this weekend.
I may have debts but I know there are many people worse off than me and if I can make it a little easier for anyone then that would make my day. Please PM if you'd like it...

I don't mean to be a killjoy, they really are lovely, generous offers! But is there a better forum for these types of offer? The DFW board gets so much traffic anyway it's hard to keep up with it all and it's getting kind of clogged with more and more threads that aren't strictly DFW....
Could we start one sticky thread if it's going to stay on DFW?0 -
Pants, didn't realise what the time was - I have to leave work now or I'll miss the train and hubby won't be pleased!!:D
I won't be able to come online for the next couple of days so if anyone does want the top send me a PM and it'll be first come first served

Fair comment climbgirl, but I didn't want to post on the Freebie board (as Minty didn't) as we wanted the items to go to people who could use them more than we did and this sort of seemed the most logical place to put them. However, if people do want thread to be moved then fair enough by me

I've mostly posted on the homes board but have been a lurker over here for some time, as I'll be looking to clear remaining debt after I move.
I've got a gold knee length dress from Monsoon, size 12, with tags and never worn. If any DFW has a christmas party to go to and would like something new to wear then I will post it to you.
It's the wrong size for me and it didn't sell on ebay...
