Debt passed to fredrickson international

Hi.
I posted a while ago about a debt I have with simply be. I had been disputing it with them due to the obscene amount of charges applied to my account,
I asked several times for a copy of my credit agreement where these charges had been agreed to by myself.... they cannot provide me with a copy of this. I never disputed that I would pay the money I owe them but the charges now come to more than the good I have received from them and I have made payments to them which have been completely wiped out by the £1000+ of charges!
A couple of weeks ago I got a letter from fredrickson international saying they had now taken over the debt, I've ignored them because as far as i was concerned I was dealing with simply be.
I now have received a letter before action giving me 7 days to pay almost £1800.
What can I do? I refuse to pay the ridiculous charges, I know I fell behind on payments and struggled to pay back what i owed but how can charges to this amount be justified.
also, each time i asked for a copy of my credit agreement they have told me they dont have one.
My question is - what power do fredrickson have in this situation, Is it an empty threat or am i likely to have the bailiffs round next week?
I am so sick and tired of dealing with this and they said that the further cost will be over £2000 if i dont pay immediately.
Any advice greatly appreciated as I am pulling my hair out....

sorry no advice, just wanted to say good luck with it x
they are one of my worse creditors, although mines gone to a diff dca.bsc 347:j0 -
Is it an overdraft?, if it is then unfortunately its not covered by the CCA
If a credit card or loan then they have defaulted and you can now legally with hold payment, they cant(we shouldnt) take any action for as long as theyve cant provide and enforceable agreement.0 -
Pretty simple send letter asking for valid CCA, if they cant within 12 days but allow 14 send in dispute letter.I all have learnt is from others on many sites.
Seek legal help if unsure.
Dont pay Private Parking tickets - they are mere invoices.
