I had never done this before until Monday when we went to the Westlife opening night in Cardiff.... fantastic btw for any of you going to the 02 :jwe scouted around for better seats and ended up front row!! The security were absolutely fine about us moving there but did ask that if anyone came to move back a few rows..... not likely when I had blagged a front row seat..... just feet away from my fave boys!! :rotfl:

I managed to get LEVEL 1 as level 4 was making me dizzy. The staff swapped for me within a few mins of Westlife coming on. TG!!

Westlife sung some popular songs and some covers, I liked it when the metal boulder they were sitting on came into the Arena. Fireworks, fire and special effects added to the experience.

I think level 4 will never be my choice again!!

Brilliant time last night thanks OP!

A friend and I managed to get tickets in rows one in front of the other so 8 of us went and had a great time!

The bag search man was kind enough to let me take my bottle of water in (without handing over the lid!) as I'm about to have a baby and on crutches - impossible to carry an open bottle! He did make me promise to not give birth right up there on level 4... :rotfl:

This would have been the first Westlife tour I hadn't been to so I'm really glad I saw the ticket giveaway :)

Woohoo good for you! I've been front row at Cardiff and it was really good because there wasn't such a huge gap as at some venues.

Anyway last night was great thanks OP. I ended up on the block right to the left of the stage. Front row of that. Great view. Had a brilliant time.

Loads of people got kicked out of their seats for moving down to where we were which is something I've never seen before. Luckily it wasn't us though!

If you go to the information desk (near 410 level 4) a few minutes before Westlife come on they MAY swap your tickets. It does no harm if they have no shows to swap you over. Just a smile/charm/little girl or boy blue Lost look blah blah as they may say no firstly.

We had no Problem in a normal queue getting in, they had mobile scanners to check you in.

You normally get a 15 minute warning they are coming on. About 9pm. Think ended about 10.40 pm.

People were dancing that high up!!!

We changed our seats in cardiff, not sure what the procedure is like in the 02, but to be honest they probably wouldn't care if you did move, just as long as your prepared to move back if someone who purchased the seat does come along! :rotfl:

You can't move out of your section in the 02... if you are in level 1, you won't get onto ground, same if you are in level 4, you won't get onto level 1 or ground.
